Our founder Duncan used his experience of volunteering in foodbanks and admiration of the ‘buy one, donate one’ business model to create a social enterprise that would tackle food poverty.
How it works
We sell a variety of pasta, rice, soup, cereal and tinned food. Visit our shop to see the full range.
The same product bought is the same product donated. Out of respect, we believe you should only donate good quality nutritious food that you would be prepared to eat yourself.
Your nearest foodbank
We work with FareShare, the Trussell Trust and a range of community foodbanks to ensure that your donation ends up where it’s needed most.
Why do we need to support foodbanks?
1.1 million parcels of 3-day emergency food supplies were given to people in crisis last year
– Trussell Trust (2017)
4.6 million people in the UK live in ‘persistent poverty’ making it hard for them to afford every day essentials
– Office for National Statistics (2017)
There are over 2,000 foodbanks in the UK
– Independent Food Aid Network (2017)
What your donations do
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
Provide a lifeline
People referred to foodbanks might be sick, unemployed, homeless, in debt or on low income. Regardless, nobody in the UK should go hungry.
Help people to Bounceback
Your donations give people a platform to turn their lives around and ultimately become self-sufficient.
